Sift the matcha into a bowl to remove any clumps, then add a small amount of hot water. Whisk until the powder is fully dissolved and the mixture becomes smooth and uniform.

This concentrated base is designed to be versatile and is especially well suited for preparing matcha lattes. Once prepared, it can be combined with milk, diluted for tea, or mixed with your preferred drink.

Start by preparing the matcha tea base. Once the base is ready, add additional hot water to dilute it to your preferred strength and stir briefly to combine.

This method produces a light, balanced cup of matcha that highlights the tea’s natural flavor while keeping the texture smooth and easy to drink.

Prepare the matcha tea base using the standard instructions. Add a small amount of additional water if desired, then pour the mixture over a glass of ice.

Stir gently to chill the tea and adjust the dilution to suit your taste. This preparation creates a refreshing iced matcha with a clean and vibrant flavor.

Prepare the matcha tea base following the standard instructions until the matcha is smooth and evenly mixed. Warm or chill your milk of choice, then pour it into the prepared matcha and stir gently until fully combined.

Sweetener can be added if desired. For an iced latte, simply pour the milk and matcha over a glass of ice and mix well before serving. This is our recommended method for Premium Matcha.

1. Why is your matcha not officially graded? Matcha sold outside of Japan is divided into an informal grading system. This grading system is a ploy that was developed for marketing purposes in the West and is instilled without moderation. Companies are able to assign a "grade" to their matcha without having any proper testing or checking on the accuracy of such quality levels. As a Japanese company, we do not want to assign obscure grades to our products as this is not a concept here.

2. How do we know the quality of your matcha then? We are providing the best matcha we can to our customers straight from its country of origin. Our matcha is high value and versatile, making it great to drink by itself or as an ingredient for a tasty treat. The matcha we provide a level in which it can be served at traditional tea ceremonies in Japan and abroad. We can confidently state that our matcha is authentic, high quality, and filled with tradition.

3. How should we store our matcha? In general, humidity is matcha's worst enemy. however, no matter what climate you live in, we recommend that you store your matcha away from light and sealed firmly in a cool environment. Placing it in the refrigerator would maximize freshness.

4. What is your policy on "best by" dates? While it heavily depends, there will always be at least 3 months before the best by date. Upon opening, we do recommend that you consume all the contents within 1-2 months for the best quality.

5. The serving sizes are too small, what should I do? Japanese palates often prefer 1 gram of matcha per cup, so this is what we used as our guideline. However, the beauty of matcha is that this can be altered to the level of your choosing. If you prefer a stronger or weaker taste, you can freely adjust the matcha and water ratios until you find a balance that suits you

6. Is matcha a gluten-free product? Yes, Premium Matcha is a gluten-free product.
